K-12 Schools and Teachers
Whether it is school tours with free bus scholarships, synchronous distance learning, or professional development for teachers, USC PAM opens a window of opportunity for learning through the arts of Asia and the Pacific Islands.
School Tours Program
Our School Tours Program enlists art, empathy, and compassion to build bridges across difference and inspire our next generation of activists, explorers, designers, and scholars. USC PAM is proud to be an educational resource for the Pasadena and Los Angeles school communities.
Distance Learning Program
This FREE virtual program is designed to bring the museum’s collection of Asian and Pacific art to students learning at home or in the classroom.
Teen Ambassadors
The USC PAM Teen Ambassadors program brings enthusiastic, creative, and culturally-minded high school students together to learn about Asian art, museum careers, and public program planning.
K-12 Curriculum and Educator Resources
Educators are invited to use the museum as a resource to enhance their students’ learning experiences. In addition to field trips and accessible curriculum, USC PAM offers occasional programming specifically for teachers, such as our Teacher Institute@PAM and professional development workshops for partner schools. Stay in the loop about upcoming opportunities for teachers through our e-newsletter here and/or contact us to host your next school professional development event at the museum.
