About this event

K-12 educators were invited to explore themes of identity, transformation, and performance in this special professional development session designed to help integrate art into the classroom. They learned to use works of art to teach critical thinking and analysis skills and participated in a hands-on artmaking activity focused on character development.

The evening included a tour of the special exhibit Tsuruya Kokei: Modern Kabuki Prints Revised and Revisited, as well as a curriculum packet, refreshments, and complimentary parking.

The event was free, and RSVP was required.
