Celebrated the USC Pacific Asia Museum’s 50th anniversary by exploring its permanent collections in-depth with unique talks and lectures presented by the museum’s curator, docents, and scholars.

Joined curator Dr. Rebecca Hall in discovering some of the wonderful treasures from Southeast Asia in the permanent collection. This conversation highlighted Thai silverwork and other decorative objects.

More about Dr. Rebecca Hall

Rebecca Hall was Curator at the USC Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, CA, where she curated the special exhibition We Are Here: Contemporary Art and Asian Voices in Los Angeles. Her PhD was in Southeast Asian Art History, and her research and publications focused on Buddhist art and practice in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Her recent article examining Buddhist banners in Cambodia was published in the Textile Museum Journal in 2019.
