Tours

  • Docent-led Tours:  Learn about the arts and culture of Asia and the Pacific Islands through private docent-led tours. USC PAM offers self-guided group visits and docent-led tours of the permanent collection and special exhibition galleries. Holiday Schedule

USC Pacific Asia Museum is closed on the following holidays:

  • 4th of July
  • Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day (Museum closes at 3 p.m.)
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve
  • New Year’s Day

*Holiday hours and closures are only applicable to normal operating days, Wednesday through Sunday. Should these holidays fall on a Monday or Tuesday, USC Pacific Asia Museum will not be open.

Public Transportation

Take the Metro Gold Line to Memorial Park Station. From there, it is about a .5 mile walk to USC Pacific Asia Museum.

Free parking is available in the USC Pacific Asia Museum parking lot on the corner of Los Robles Avenue and Union Street, directly north of the museum.

Accessibility

All public spaces of the building and garden are accessible to visitors with mobility impairments and are wheelchair accessible.

Things to Know

Belongings

To help insure a safe and less crowded environment, we ask that certain items such as backpacks, luggage, and skateboards be checked with our front desk attendant. No back-worn baby carriers or children on shoulders allowed. Personal items such as purses and camera cases can be kept at all times.

Pets

Service dogs that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability are welcome. Pets, comfort animals, emotional support animals (ESA), or therapy animals are not allowed. https://policy.usc.edu/pets-on-university-property/.

Photography

There is no flash photography allowed in any of the galleries. Photos without a flash and for personal use are allowed in the permanent collections galleries. There is no photography of any kind allowed in the changing exhibition galleries. For commercial and wedding photography, please contact info@pam.usc.edu for availability and pricing.

Food

There is no food or drink allowed in the museum galleries. There is no food service available inside the museum, however the Paseo Colorado and several restaurants are within easy walking distance from the building.

Bicycles

There is a public bicycle rack on the sidewalk outside the museum. This is not on museum property and visitors park there at their own risk.

Smoking

There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the museum premises.

Covid Safety Protocols:

  • We strongly recommend wearing a mask covering the nose and mouth for all visitors (2+) regardless of vaccination status while indoors.  
  • Please practice social distancing from others not in your party. 
  • Please stay home if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to COVID-19.
